Flatten the Learning Curve

The F70 is a carefully crafted ceramic brewer that pairs with our Perfect Paper F70 filters. The flat-bottom dripper is a forgiving design that nonetheless produces a rich, full bodied cup of coffee. While it may not allow for the nuanced brew variability of a cone shaped dripper, it is very user friendly and produces a consistent, familiar cup. Sometimes simple is better.

First flat-bottom brewer

Long-time Phoenix 70 user, have never had a bad cup from it, decided to try the F70 as an option when I want to brew right on top of a mug. So far, very happy. Using a bit finer grind than the Phoenix to get more extraction time. Have been very happy with the results and am using this very regularly now.

F70 brewer

An excellent pour over brewer. I brewed a Pacamara coffee from El Salvador at a 1:16 ratio and a medium grind on my Timemore Chestnut X hand grinder. Really good flow through resulting in a clean and flavourful brew. This brewer does a wonderful job.

Good

I like it because the extraction speed is faster than I expected. However, it is unfortunate that when you rinse the filter, its shape becomes distorted.
